Vermont man missing since April 12th

Robert Murphy, 53 of Wilmington, VT was reported missing by his employer last Thursday.

Murphy is described as 6'0", 150 lbs, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen leaving work on April 12th to walk to his home on Rte 100.

Police found evidence that suggests Murphy may have slipped and fell into the West River. The Brattleboro Fire Dept. dive team searched the river from the possible entry point to the mouth of the Harriman Resevoir but did not find Murphy or any other evidence.

Yesterday morning the search continued using air scent dogs from the New England K-9 SAR, but the search did not turn up anything.
